NATIONAL BOOK CAMPAIGN!
The past months have been an amazing blur. Getting two books ready for launch is certainly not for the faint of heart! As my husband, Jeff, said, “Publishing is a completely different animal.” Writing a book has been a dream since I was a young girl. And now that it’s here about twenty plus years later. I can hardly believe it.
As my publisher and I collaborated on my memoir, The Queen Saves Herself: A Story of Transformation and Triumph, as well as The Queen’s Companion Book: Rule Your Throne. Own Your Queendom, I lived in daily gratitude. Not surprising, gratitude prompts abundance and more downloaded gifts! So very quickly, my authorship blossomed beyond my expectations.
I want these books to benefit women worldwide. Whatever stage in life, whatever status in your career, whatever trauma you’ve sustained, there is growth, excitement, and empowerment in these pages written for you in mind. Brene Brown’s quote related to the fact that someday our story will be someone else’s survival story really resonated with me. My journey of healing, transformation, and ultimate recovery and triumph was a purging, a catharsis. I poured out everything I had in my memoir with no holds barred. It’s raw, bold, and full of grit and grace. Sound like anyone you know? Yeah, that’s me.
Behind the glossy exterior, pretty social media photos, the assemblance of a perfect family and dreamy husband, people may assume I had a Cinderella life. That’s not the case; it certainly wasn’t in the past… and it took damn hard work to get to where I am at today. I want my story to give you hope, inspiration, and a renewed or even new passion and purpose. I want you to believe that you’re unlimited in potential. Then, with my companion book, I show you how to do it, how you can realize the life, personally and professionally, that you aspire to have.
