I know from personal experience that the feelings associated with loss, particularly if cumulative, can create a rapid downward spiral that may take years to crawl out of to some type of normalcy in life. Tragically, for some, it may be never happen if the healing work isn’t done. It sure looked like that to me, particularly one fateful day when I no longer had the will to live.

The past months have been an amazing blur. Getting two books ready for launch is certainly not for the faint of heart! As my husband, Jeff, said, “Publishing is a completely different animal.” Writing a book has been a dream since I was a young girl. And now that it’s here about twenty plus years later. I can hardly believe it.

The Emotion Code is often the path to freedom from any emotional trauma and pain that is holding you back. How often do we, as women, get stymied in our professional and personal lives because of what’s brewing and bubbling inside but never gets resolved?

Never apologize for being you. Don’t be someone you’re not simply to make another more comfortable. Don’t deny your authenticity.

Fourteen years ago today, March 2, 2009, my life ended when i found my nine week old baby, lifeless, in his crib. What I didn’t expect was that ultimately, it was also the beginning of my life when I not only healed deeper wounds of a broken little girl and woman, but also the initiation of unfathomable pain into a monumental purpose.
